A fifth planet was discovered in the alien system 55 Cancri. Woah, what a trip. They even think there could be a rocky planet or moon roughly Earth-size that could be in the zone that would support life as we know it. But that's speculation. :-) Oh well, I guess it's more than a walk in the park at 45 light years away, eh?

Scientists announced today the discovery of a fifth planet in a distant star system that now looks like a "cousin" to our own. Known as 55 Cancri, the sun-like star harbors the most number of planets ever discovered outside our solar system.
